Through lok manch platform, under the national leadership of JESA, we have initiated active intervention in the tribal issue of Wayanad. TUDI is the Wayanad unit leader gets the collaboration and support of other three NGO’s (Bhodhini, JVALA and Ooru) cover 12 thousand tribal households for their entitlements. Lok Manch Wayanad unit directly focuses on National Food Security Act (NFSA), tribal Sub Plan, WASH, and Forest Right Act. When we reach the second phase of Lok Manch intervention, we see the creative emerging leadership of tribal youth and their critical awareness for their entitlements.
